We’re all adjusting the way we live and shop. As the effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, I wanted to share what we’re doing to keep you safe while you shop with us. First, Haydel's Furniture-Appliances-Bedding is firmly committed to the health and safety of guests and employees, just as we have always been. Second, closely following the Centers for Disease Control's guidelines, we are making deliberate adjustments to the way we operate in the areas of employee training, customer experience, store environment, and delivery.
This is our Clean Shop Promise to you.
Associates will limit their direct contact with customers while increasing protective and hygienic routines throughout the day. All employees receive instructions on hand-washing, limiting contact, and keeping safe distances. Associates will monitor their health before coming to work and stay at home when they don’t feel well.
Protecting Your Experience
We’re taking steps to support the shopping experience and reduce the time needed to be physically in the store. Customers can research products online, have remote consultations, and schedule appointments, so there will be fewer shoppers in the store at any one time. We took care to place hand sanitizer at the entrances and cash registers.
Clean Store Environment
We have significantly expanded our methods and increased the frequency of store cleaning. Sanitizing wipes are near workstations, registers, and counters so employees can continuously clean them. Between uses, associates will disinfect high-touch surfaces based on CDC guidelines. In addition, we will conduct a daily cleaning of all surfaces, including mattresses, registers, countertops, doors, and restrooms.
Careful In-Home Delivery
We will be as careful about your home as we are about our store. Customers can choose to have teams deliver to the front door or garage, or have the product brought carefully inside to the desired room. Teams have received instruction on delivering and removing products with appropriate attention to distancing, sanitizing, and overall safety procedures. At each delivery stop, we will wear disposable gloves and booties. Between deliveries, our teams will sanitize hands and discard gloves and booties.
From the moment you walk into our showroom to the day you enjoy your new products in the comfort of your home, we will do all we can to serve you and keep you, our valued customers, safe and satisfied. That’s our promise.
